The Cornwall Film Festival 2008 is very pleased to welcome Danielle Jenkin as Festival Director. Danielle has returned to her native Cornwall from London, where she has been working for Channel 4. Danielle intends to make the most of her industry contacts, to ensure that this year's Festival is the place for new talent to get discovered!

Plans are already underway for Board Shorts 2008, our not-to-be-missed annual suft/skate film event, which promises to be bigger than ever! We’ve booked a marquee with a capacity for 800 people at the Sandsifter Bar in Hayle, there’ll be live music and everyone can let their hair down as it’s the weekend after the main Festival. Film critic Mark Kermode has already confirmed he’ll be coming!
