Cornwall Film Festival is pleased to welcome John Wojowski who is filling the Festival Director shoes whilst Laura Hardman is on maternity leave. John join us from Manchesters Kino Film Festival and we pleased to have him on board.
The submissions deadline has now passed and plans are beinging to take shape for 2007. In addition to showing over 150 films by Cornish film makers we are planning an action packed programme of events including:
The Premieres of five Cornish Feature Films funded by Cornwall Film, including the target talent films 'Midnight Drives' directed by Mark Jenkin and 'Dressing Granite' directed by Bill Scott.
The Cornish Premiers of the South African comedy 'Bunny Chow' directed by John Barker; the hilarious and high energy 'Perverts Guide to Cinema' directed by Sophie Fiennes; and the Gary Hustwit documentary 'Helvetica' which explores global visual culture.
We will also be delivering the usual programme of skills development, workshops masterclasses, discussions and networking. Please keep checking the website for more details.
